WP6. DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGY GENERATION AND STORAGE SYSTEMS
Responsibles: CBA
Participants: CBA, MRC, XBF, SGNR, LBB
Objectives:
- Development of power generation systems using fuel cells and solar cells, and evaluation of the feasibility of using energy storage systems in supercapacitors.
- The hardware systems and the hybridization logic will be developed that allow to use the different energy sources according to the propulsive demands at each moment of the mission
Subtasks
- T4.1. Design of advanced power generation systems for UAVs:
- This task will focus on the feasibility study of the use of both hydrogen cells and solar cells.
- T4.2. Design of advanced energy storage systems:
- This This task will focus on superconductors and low-density systems.
- T4.3. Development of control system for energy management:
- Focusing on optimum control algorithms.
- T4.3. Technological Demonstration Construction:
- Focusing on the integration of generation system, storage and propulsive system
